This lens is good if you are around in the middle of a croud, and want as much as possible of a wide angle to capture the entire scene. Obviously there will be distortion of straight lines in curved lines, as the camera sensor is flat, spherical and not as the human eye. That kind of distortion is a matter of taste. If maintained, at least the horizon straight, keeping in the middle, the distortions of others can be very artistic. I have used this objective in the Philippines for 5500 photos, and published the best in a couple of books. Technically, the goal provides a sharp focus on the very first plane to infinity in F11.
